WHY ATTEND
The recent ruling in the Ultima vs SBA-8A and USDA has jeopardized certified small business programs nationwide!
The case specifically discarded the validity of state disparity studies and proven data of discrimination against BIPOCS, women, and veteran owned small businesses, further deeming that race is no longer a disadvantage.
Certified small business and set aside programs aimed at increasing opportunities will soon be compromised, as lawsuits are being filed by non-certified businesses stating THEY are being discriminated upon. THIS IS PREPOSTEROUS!
Now is the time to help shape the procurement and contracting landscape to ensure that ALL CERTIFIED SMALL BUSINESSES will have equal opportunity under an open, fair and transparent competition in government contracting.
