Job Costing + Estimating- Hennepin County

In partnership with Hennepin County, MaKee Company is pleased to present this Job Costing & Estimating workshop where participants  will learn how to break down the specifics of bidding from the lenses of a general contractor and project manager.  Workshop dates:  February 20 – February 22, 2023   Time:  1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This three-day workshop will guide entrepreneurs through the creation of their own job costing, estimating and bidding process.  This workshop will touch on the following essential costing elements:

• Basic Pre-construction Process and Pricing
• Creating a Job Costing System
• Understanding What, When, Where and How to Bid

Attendees will also receive real-time job costing examples to help them understand the process as it looks today.

Any Hennepin County-based construction business can sign up for up to two workshops at no charge.

To be eligible for the full Construction Intensive series at no cost (a $1,400 value), contractors must:

• Be locally owned and operated in Hennepin County
• Have completed at least two projects with contracts
• totaling $25,000 or more
• Earn less than $4 million in annual revenue
• Be established and registered with the Minnesota
• Secretary of State prior to 2021 in good standing
