Procurement Policy Development + SMWDBE Program
MKC is currently developing the City of Brooklyn Center's Procurement and Purchasing Policies and Procedures with the intent to eliminate barriers of entry for Small, Minority, Women, and Disadvantaged business firms. Our focus is to design a more RACE + GENDER equity conscious contracting in as many aspects of the City's spend dollars.

An Innovative Solution
MKC was contracted to develop and instruct a workshop for entrepreneurs who needed capability statements, branding importance, and customer relationship management in order to improve and support sales and operations.
MN DEPARTMENT OF VEHICLE SERVICES
Diversity, Inclusion, and Customer Service Facilitation
MKC was contracted to develop and instruct 500+ employees in Diversity, Inclusion, and Customer Service. MKC traveled to 8 different DVS sites for training and facilitation of these daylong workshops.

Leadership Development Program - Asia
MKC managed a 48M Real estate and general construction management company. Projects included commercial, land development, and highway heavy projects in Japan, Philippines, Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Ireland, Norway, Germany, Algiers, and France. Projects comprised of concrete/flatwork, asphalt, sheetrock/painting in highway construction, commercial, retail, multi housing, single family, and medical buildings. MKC was also responsible for developing an ethnic business program so that these businesses can partake in these opportunities. MKC managed
approximately 15M Profit & Loss and financial position of small ethnic businesses for Gallagher Investments.
MKC developed a mid-level leadership program for Planters Growers - ASIA. The program offered a year-long education track specifically for women in various departments of the organization. Comprised of monthly workshops, a procurement with mentoring program, and 1on1 coaching. The program provided an environment for growth, advancement, and equality for 300+ women over the course of five years.
